  2. Frank & I send our sincere sympathies in the loss of your sweet Mother. She was an amazing lady and I always enjoyed visiting with her any opportunity I got. She loved walking around the circle in her neighborhood making lots of laps! Your sweet memories will be forever in your hearts and will sustain you until you’re reunited in Heaven one day. God bless your family!!

  3. One might think that with my upbringing I would have some comforting words of condolences, but I do NOT, no words can help much. The memories of the person I knew simply as “Aunt Vera” are that it would always be a fun time, those are the memories I will cherish! God bless you Aunt Vera, our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  4. David and Kathy, will still remember the time your Mom had us all over for tacos and we had such a good time. She was an amazing lady and you could not keep her down. Shw was strong in the Lord. Now she is with Jesus seeing all her family members and rejoicing.

  5. Dear family of Aunt Vera, We will miss our dear sweet Aunt Vera. She was always so kind and loving, a true Godly woman. We enjoyed our family times together, she was always such a blessing. Sorry for your loss and praying for you all. Barry and Lacretia Fitzjarrald

  6. The Costello connection with Vera goes back over 50 years when she babysat Jim as a baby. After we moved to the Costello house we reconnected with Vera and loved getting to visit with her as she walked the neighborhood. She was always thrilled to visit with neighbors. She was so proud of her family and enjoyed her independence. We will miss her smile, her hugs and her kind nature. May she rest in peace and may her family find peace in their wonderful memories of her. The video tribute is proof of the importance of her family. Love from Mary, Mike and Brian Costello

  7. Just returned to Wichita after 40 years. I have so much regret about not staying in touch with Vera! She was first a good friend, then a wonderful teacher! I missed her when I moved to California, but never did the proper thing keeping intouch!! Much love to her family and she is missed! Rosie
