Verla Beata Marie Brown, 98, homemaker, died Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Sunday, January 28, 2024, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 am, Monday, January 29, 2024, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. Brown; sons, Ronald J. Brown, Everett L. Brown; parents, August and Ottilie Stueve; sisters, Elsie Wise, Louise Tracy, Hattie Hauser, Hilda Glewwe, Lida Huenergardt, Ida Stueve, Sylvia Major, Dorothy Schlesener; brothers, Carl and Paul Stueve; great-grandson, Mason Everett Brown; son-in-law, Robert Schulte. Survived by her daughters, Dianna (Gary) Stokes, Geneva Schulte, Charlotte (Sam) Goode, Sharon ("C.A.") Martin; sons, Dwayne Brown, Steve (Lila) Brown, Clay Brown; 25 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
