Verlon Irene Claggett

Claggett, Verlon Irene, 82, retired secretary for Claggett Limb and Brace Co., passed away Thursday, May 20, 2010. Visitation with the family will be 1:00 ~ 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. The memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, May 24, at Grace Presbyterian Church. Verlon worked as an LPN at St. Johns Hospital in Tulsa. Preceded in death by husband, Clifford Delmer Claggett. Survivors: sons, Clifford M. Claggett of Oakton, VA and Sherman H. Claggett of Henderson, NV; daughters, Kay Davis of Tulsa, OK and Michelle Botkin of Wichita; sisters, Johnnie Morton and Faye Derrick, both of Danville, AR and Ima Jean Putman of Havana, AR; grandchildren, Cara Sanfacon, Christie Newman, Craig Claggett, Olivia Khoury and Beau Bonner; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Caitlyn, C.J., AnaJane, Alicia, Jacob, Madison and Mikayla. A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association, 837 S. Hillside, Wichita, 67211. Visitation with the family will be 1:00 ~ 4:00 p.m., Sunday, May 23 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
