Verna Mae Hiser

Verna Mae Hiser, 82, accountant, passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021. No services. Verna served in the United States Air Force. She was very active, loved to shop, read, and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and belonged to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Wichita. Preceded in death by her parents, Esmil Torres and Della Torres, and her loving husband of 61 years, Keith Hiser. Survivors: sons, Eric (Patricia) Hiser of Wichita and Gregory (Rebecca) Hiser of Maize; daughter, Dana (Mike) Mathia of Wichita; many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. A memorial has been established with Victory In The Valley, 3755 East Douglas, Wichita, KS 67218. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.
