My deepest condolences to Pam, Jolene, Tim & Brian and your family. Iβm so very sorry for your loss. May he Rest In Peace and perpetual light shine upon him.
We first met Vern and Terri on a tour of Europe in 1997 where we enjoyed a lot of laughs together and Vern taught me to “yodel”, something that he always reminded my of whenever we emailed or talked together. Although living on opposite sides of the world we remained close friends and in 2015 we were fortunate to visit Vern, sadly Terri had passed, and spent a week visiting all the sights in Wichita with him, it was during this visit that he introduced us to “Prairie Chicken”. We still remember his perpetual cup of coffee, every morning he would visit the service station to get his free coffee in the reusable cup. Vernon, you were a beautiful person who we loved dearly, we will miss our phone conversations when you would keep us informed about your family and remind me how to yodel. Rest in Peace
My heartfelt condolences to the family of Vern’s. I knew him through my workplace, Bankers’ Bank of Kansas. He was a kind person who always stopped to say hello or talk art with me. He was sweet, friendly, and thoughtful. Heaven has gained an angel. May he rest in peace. Hugs and prayers π β€οΈ π
To Brian, Tim, Jolene, and Pam, my sincere condolences to you in the loss of your father, Vernon. Brian, I remember the early days how he searched out cars for you, his passion for them. And all the times I knew he was happy when you would go out to the Lease, and you brought me, to fish and hunt. I knew he loved cars, fishing, and golf. God bless you all during this difficult time. John Wilson – Friend of the family
My heartfelt condolences to the family of Vern. I had the honor of knowing him for many years as a beloved patient at our pharmacy. We shared many laughs and wonderful meals together. I will miss you my buddy. May you rest in peace.ππ
