Vickie Mae Cantrell

Vickie Mae Cantrell, 64, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, Thursday, June 16, 2022. Funeral Service at 11:00 am, Friday, June 17, 2022, both at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. Vickie was employed at Cessna Aircraft for 23 years as a Hydraulic Press Operator. She loved and worshiped her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and Weiner dogs, Conetta and Cody. Over the last year she enjoyed the retired life which included using her camper with her husband and dogs. Preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Vera Mae Sharp; brother, Allen LaForte. Survived by her husband, Larry Dean Cantrell; son, Bobby (Carla) Cantrell; daughter, Kelly (Chris) Curry; grandchildren, Sheldon (Gigi) Cantrell, Brayden Cantrell, Alexis Cantrell, Skylar Crowe, Brylee Curry; great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Beau Cantrell; brothers, Roy (Sharon) Sharp, Rob (Linda) Sharp; sisters, Sheila Schultz, Sue (John) Hawk-Peltz. A memorial has been established with Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.
