Bieberle, Father Victor A., 89, died Monday, February 2, 2015. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Sunday, February 8, 2015; Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, February 9, 2015, both at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. He was born on September 27, 1925 in Bushton, KS, the son of Tony C. and Mary Hammeke Bieberle. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Evelyn Klepper. Survived by his brother, Clifford (Gerry) Bieberle of Great Bend, KS; sisters, Lea Nell Moos of Wichita, KS, Ellie (Jerry) Ewald of Wichita; numerous nieces and nephews. He attended grade school at Holy Name School Bushton, high school and college at the Salvatorian Seminary in St. Nazianz, Wisconsin. He took his philosophy and theology studies at St. Thomas Seminary, Denver, CO. He was ordained to the Priesthood on May 21, 1951 at Holy Name Church, Bushton, KS by Bishop Mark K. Carroll. In June 1951 Bishop Carroll appointed him as Chaplain to the Kansas National Guard, 137th Inf. Regt. His Pastorates included: Immaculate Conception Church, Burns, KS with the Mission of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Spring Branch; St. Mark Parish, Marion, KS 1957 - 1961, with Mission at Spring Branch; Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Anthony, KS 1967 - 1969; St. Anne Parish, Wichita, KS 1969 - 1975; Blessed Sacrament Parish, Wichita, KS 1975 - 1987; Holy Cross Parish, Hutchinson, KS 1987 - 1995. Military Service included: Kansas National Guard, 137th Inf. Regt., Wichita, KS, 1st Lt. and Cpt. 1952 - 1961. Active Duty: 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell, KY, Cpt. 1961 - 1964; MACV Vietnam, Hue VN, Cpt. 1964 - 1965; 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, NC, Maj. 1965 - 1966; Dominican Republic, 82nd ABN Div. 1965; Korea, 7th Inf. Div., Ltc. 1966 - 1967; 89th Div. ARCOM, Wichita, KS, Colonel 1967 - 1985.
