  2. I am so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. I remember her as a sweet and gentle soul. Whenever she called to talk to Tom, we always had a chance to chat while she waited for him to get to the phone. She was a very special lady, and I cared about her. It’s difficult to have this sorrow at Christmas, but she is in a good place now, and time will heal your sorrows. My prayers are with you all.

  3. You have my most sincere sympathy at this sad time of Vilma’s passing. She was a great person, who was a model employee in the Region, District, and Wichita Post Office. I was very fortunate to get to work with her, as she always wanted to set a good example by doing more than expected. As a true perfectionist, she made my job as postmaster very easy as I always knew I could depend on her. All of us who had an opportunity to work with her were very fortunate.

  4. Bob and Karen and Scott, So sorry to hear of the passing of your dear mother and grandmother. You are in our thoughts and prayers today and always. Love, Elaine, Bob and Alex

  5. I am so sorry about Vilma. She and I worked together at the Post Office for many years (I took her place as Supervisor, Injury Compensation) and after we both retired from there, we met regularly for lunches, etc. Our favorite place to go eat was at a taco place where they had ‘funny tacos.’ I did visit with her when she was in the hospital awhile ago. I will miss her a lot.
