Virginia Barb

Barb, Virginia (Blood), 88, retired Derby Public Schools teacher and psychologist, died Saturday, September 13, 2014. Visitation with the Family will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 18, 2014, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Graveside Service will be 11:00 A.M., Friday, September 19, 2014, at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Remick. She is survived by her son, Vergil Barb (Vicki), of Wichita; sisters, Alice M. Kelley, of Everett, WA, and Marie Kendrick, of Shelbyville, TN; grandchildren, Dr. Christine Barb (Steve Clark), and Lindi Barb DeLorio (Ben); great-grandchildren, Carina and Isadora DeLeorio, all of Boston, MA. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 431 South Woodlawn, Derby, KS 67037.
