Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I just learned of Virginia’s passing. Although I am not living in the Wichita area any longer, I do want to pass on my sincerest condolences to Van, Kurt and the rest of the Fiser family.
Dear Van, Kurt, and family, If we believe there are flowers in heaven, then we know Virginia is content. Few of us will think of her without thinking of the beautiful blossoms she tended with such care. A lovely thing about her was that she exhibited the same attention and interest to her friends, and of course the family she loved so dearly. How lucky we all are to have shared some of our time with a lady of her caliber. Her absence will leave a void that’s hard to fill, but her memory will always fill your hearts with joy and love. Sincere and caring thoughts, Myrna & Fred
Van and family, You have our deepest sympathy. Virginia was such a fine generous loving woman and a favorite cousin. May you be comforted by loving memories of her. God Bless you all. Walter Hall’s family
Van and family: My mother, Ardeen, was so sad to hear of Virginia’s passing. She was so upset she couldn’t tell me about it until today (Sunday). Van, she was very honored and appreciative that you called her. She says to tell you that Virginia was a true friend and artist and that she will miss her very much. She is not well enough to attend the memorial service. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. In sympathy, Jill Casado and Ardeen Casado
Dear Van & Family. So sorry to read about your loss. What a wonderful, fulfilled life Virginia lived. Dont know if you will remember me or not; Mary Ruth Hudson and we all went to school together in Cherryvale. You, Virginia and I were in some of the music things together. Also, graduated the same year. I have wondered so many times where or how many of our class were still living. We have lived in Springfield, IL since 1961. My husband was in the newspaper business and, of course, now retired. I read the web newspapers and Wichita is always the first one I read and that is how I knew about Virginia. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. If you would care to, would love to hear from you sometime and perhaps catch up on some of the others we knew.
Such a shock to the arts community in Wichita to lose Virginia’s enthusiastic support. Her thoughtful and friendly demeanor will be greatly missed. We are looking forward to witnessing the growth and blooming of the blue columbines from the seeds she sent us last Fall. Our prayers in Christ’s name are with Van and family. Jim (professor emeritus of clarinet at WSU) and Gay J. Jones
Dear Van, We are so sorry to hear about Virginia. We are in Little Rock visiting my father. Shoke has Delmar’s cell phone number and called us. We will not be back in time for the memorial service. We knew her surgery was very serious but thought she was stable so we were surprised somewhat when we heard the news. Virginia, was a dear person and besides her family she will be missed by many people. She was dedicated to the arts and will leave a void. We will check with you when we get back in town. Until then know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. With Sympathy Mary and Delmar
Van and Family: Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss or Virginia. We are truly saddened and shocked, and send to you our thoughts and prayers. She was a very special person who will be missed terribly. God Bless You. Bill and Diana Thomson
