Virginia Wilson 82, of Andover, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020. Memorial Service, 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 6, at Hope Community Church in Andover. Funeral Service will be Live Streamed through the church. She was also a veteran of the United States Air Force where she served in communications. Virginia was an avid painter who loved to read, loved her dachshunds, and loved the Lord. She was preceded in death by her parents, Micheal and Josephine Lutchen; husband, Roy Wilson; sons, Jimmy Wilson, Ricky Wilson; grandchild, Heath Wilson; siblings, Boycie Lutchen, George Lutchen, Irene Morawski, Fran Wilm, Chester Lutchen, Ester Janusz Fisher, Edward Lutchen, Ruth McQueen and Evelyn Healy. Survivors: daughter-in-law, Stephanie (David) Ruedy of Maize; grandchildren, Jessica (Miles) Franklin of Maize, Joshua (Marie) Wilson of Wichita, David Kelley of Wichita; great-grandchild, Jacob Wilson; sister, Marion Mathias of Milwaukee, WI. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West.

  1. I only talked with Mrs. Wilson once. I work at the Kansas Food Bank and she called and said her donations would be decreasing or stopping and told me that she was very sick. We had a long talk and she had the most beautiful, inspiring look on life. She really touched my heart that day. The world will miss someone as kind as her. Carol Hughes
