Vivian K. Schauf, 81, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, died Sunday, June 26, 2022. Rosary will be at 6:30 pm, Tuesday, June 28, 2022. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am, Wednesday, June 29, 2022, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. Vivian was an avid gardener, quilter and loved being outdoors. Preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Blanche Duryee; husband, Dale H. Schauf; grandchild, Brock Beat. Survived by her son, Brett (Jenny Jones) Schauf; daughter, Suzanne (David Beat) Whitehouse; grandchildren, Jacob McNutt, Ryan (Fiancé, Sarah) Schauf, Blake Whitehouse, Cahill Jones; great-grandchild, Everleigh Whitehouse; sisters, Janice (Marshall) Stanton, Dolores Darland; brother, Floyd Duryee, Jr. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Christ the King Catholic School, 4501 West Maple, Wichita, KS 67209.
