Wallace W. Underhill

Wallace W. Underhill, attorney and longtime resident of Wichita, died June 3, 2014, at the age of 70. Wallace had practiced law in Wichita since 1970 and continued to be active in the legal community until the last few weeks of his life. Wally was born in 1943 to Wesley and Nancy Underhill in Redfield, South Dakota. He graduated high school in 1961 and continued his education at Kansas Wesleyan in Salina. Thereafter, he completed his law degree at Kansas University. He was preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Myra. Wally leaves behind his wife, Diane; daughters, Laurie (Matt) of Kansas and Tracy of North Dakota; step-children, Jeffrey (Caroline) of California; grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jennah, Steven, Mason, Carleigh and Makynzee; step-grandchildren, Charlotte; great-grandchildren, Weston and Peyton. He also leaves his brothers, Robert (Della) and Dale and sister, Diane. Wally will be deeply missed. Funeral Mass will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 9, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
