Wesley D. Wes Stancher

Wesley D. “Wes” Stancher, 92, a loving father and husband. passed away Sunday, October 20, 2013. Wes was still very active in his later years, delivering Meals On Wheels up until a short time before his death. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Army. Wes was a sales manager for The Carpet Center. Rosary, 7 p.m., Thursday, October 24; Funeral Mass, 10 a.m., Friday, October 25, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by parents, David and Emma Stancher; daughter, Cheryl; step-daughter, Sheila and a great-grandchild. Survivors: wife, Bettie; children, Doug and Mark Stancher, Susan Hedgpeth (Bill), Wesley Stancher II, and Nancy Koontz; step-children, Linda Chapman (Delbert), Steve Ollek (Pat), Darren Ollek and Cheryl Parkins (Joe); 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
