Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I am so very sorry for your sudden loss of your dear father. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word and his devotion to your Mother was an inspiration to everyone. It was a blessing to know him. I was out of town the weekend of the funeral — you are so fortunate to have had your Dad these many years and I know how very proud he was of his family. I volunteer at the Catholic Care Center on Wednesday mornings and miss seeing him with your Mother. I told Wey often how sure I was that Agnes knew him and felt his love and presence. I was ill with bronchitis and some other problems when your Dad passed away and I hadn’t been at the Care Center, so I remember fondly the last Wednesday that we had visited. He was a very special man. God bless all of you and I pray that His love and memories of good times will comfort you.
Dear Kenny girls, My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. Your father was a kind and gracious man and your mother still a gracious lady. You certainly have had the gift of fine parents. I consider it a privelege to have known Agnes and Wey. My sympathy to each of you. Sincerely, Elaine Aaron
Susan- I was sorry to read about your father today. I know he was highly regarded by his family, co-workers, and friends. I lost my mother to Alzheimer’s related illness two years ago. I know you are going through that too, and wanted you to know I am thinking of you. Your old chemistry lab buddy. Robert Bachman
Dear Family Members, I never had the privilege of meeting Mr. Kenny, but I do know that he was a valuable member of the Board of Directors of then Kansas Newman College from 1977 to 1982. Those who knew him in that capacity found him to be a thoughtful contributor to substantive conversations. He was also very generous to the University beyond that significant service. We remain grateful for his participation in the leadership of the University. We pray for the repose of Mr. Kenny’s soul and for all of you in your time of sorrow. Sincerely, Noreen M. Carrocci President, Newman University
Dear Girls & Families, Scott & I were so very sorry to learn about your father’s passing! However, he had a wonderful life and was so devoted to your mother. We are Ellie Brooks’ son and daughter-in-law and had many wonderful conversations with your Dad. He was truly a man of God and so very proud of all you girls and your families. Mother Brooks so enjoyed all their bridge games and just sitting at the dinner table and having conversation. I know she loved Wey very much. Try to remember all your wonderful memories with him and it will help get you through the days and weeks ahead. You all will be in our thoughts and prayers and many God Bless each and everyone of you.
