Willard W. Bill Vliet

Vliet, Willard W. “Bill”, 84, co-founder of E. E. Vliet Co., died Wednesday, July 11, 2007. Service 2:00 P.M., Friday, July 13, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Bill served in the U. S. Air Force for 5 years during WWII. Preceded in death by sisters, Laverne Vliet and Adna Dean Crim, brothers, Vaughn Vliet and Elvin E. Vliet, and step-son and wife, Rick and Janice Cripps. Survivors: wife, Catherine “Katie” Smith; step-son, Rod Cripps (Debbie) of Indianapolis, IN; niece, Mary Zerbe of Council Grove, KS; nephews, Richard Vliet (Marni) of Wichita and Edward Vliet (Billie) of Wichita; 2 step-grandchildren; 2 step-great-grandchildren; 9 great nieces and nephews; 13 great-great nieces and nephews. A memorial has been established with Keith Worthington Chapter of ALS Association, 3450 N. Rock Rd., S-211, Wichita, KS, 66202
