William "Bill" F. Swegle

William F. “Bill” Swegle, 98, died in Wichita, Kansas on June 11, 2025. Bill, a retired Commander in the U.S. Navy Reserve and water resource planner, was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Mary Swegle, his three brothers, and his loving wife of 73 years, Martha. He is survived by his 3 children, Mark (Elizabeth Kunkel), Ann (Robert Leake) and Eric, and two grandsons, Britt Leake and Daniel Swegle, and many nieces and nephews. Bill, a devoted husband and father, was a thoughtful and kind man who loved to sing and to bring smiles to the faces of others. Services and burial will be at Floral Hills Cemetery, July 12 at 2:00 p.m.
