William C. “Bill” Peltzer, D.D.S., 93, dentist, passed away Monday, March 21, 2016. Viewing will be 1-9 p.m., Sunday, March 27 and 9 a.m.5 p.m., Monday, March 28 at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West. Rosary, 7 P.M., Monday, March 28; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 29, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Preceded in death by parents, Henry J. and Theresa (Diefenbach) Peltzer; brothers, Joe, Ted, Herman “Ham”, O.H. “Liz” and Jim; sisters, Agnes “Curly” Arensdorf, Marie Bestgen and Constance Bunck; brother-in-law, Walt Kavanagh. Survivors: wife of 63 years, Mary K. Peltzer; children, Rev. Michael Peltzer of Harper, Christopher Peltzer (Paula) of Derby, Theresa Elpers (Michael) and Heidi Peltzer all of Wichita; sister, Virginia Orth of Andale; sister-in-law, Linda Peltzer of Wichita; 7 grandchildren, Tara, Jacob (Katie), Jesse and Isaac Elpers, Jack Nowlin, Shannon and Lindsay Mills; one great-grandchild on the way; numerous nephews and nieces.
