Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Chris, I am really sorry to learn of your father’s passing. He always impressed me as a neighbor and as a Planning Commissioner. My thoughts are with you and your family.
To All: My heart is very heavy knowing what you all are going through. I was never lucky enough to work directly for Bill but I still had a deep respect and admiration for the man and I adored him. He has touched my life in so many ways, through each of you, and I am so thankful and blessed because of that. I will never forget his smile or the way he would ask ‘Whatta know kid?’. Please let me know if there is anything I can do on a personal or professional level. There are a lot of people who love and respect the entire family and are very sorry for your loss. Heaven will never be the same.
Dearest Susie and family, My deepest and heartfelt sympathies to you in your loss. May the Holy Spirit fill your heart with precious memories and comfort today and in times to come. Blessings are in having family to share the sorrows and joys of life and may you all continue to be wrapped in our Savior’s loving presence. Lovingly Always, Elise
Tony and family, With deep sympathy our thoughts and prayers are with your father and all his family. Sincerely, Marty & Melody Childs
Dear Sarah, I’m very sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you, and your family. Your friend, Belinda(Ortega)Aleman
I was one of many ‘kids’ that worked their way through college at Star Lumber. I will always remember one hot summer day when a couple of us were using a jack-hammer in the parking lot run new electric lines to the sign at West Street. Mr. Goebel came out and said, ‘That’s not the way to use a jack-hammer!’ and proceded to take of his suit jacket and and firmly, yet repectfully, show us how to use it. I had a lot of respect for him for that. Not many company owner would do that. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Tim Spexarth
Goebel Family, We are thinking of you & you will be in our prayers. Bill’s integrity & family values should be modeled by all.
Iwish to extend my condolences to the Goebel family. What first came to mind when I heard of Bill’s passing was a time over thirty years ago when I was 19 years old and needed to find a location on short notice to move my concrete products business to. I approached Bill at the store, told him my situation, and asked if he might have a spot I could set up at. Without hardly thinking about it, he motioned me outside, we got on his golf cart and drove behind building 2 where he said I could make my products right there, and I did for over a year. It impressed me over the years that he was quick to help people out.
In the quiet moments, when the hurt is hard to bear. May love become your shelter and may the beauty of precious moments be your comfort. Your are in my thoughts and prayers. Sincerely,
Our prayers and thoughts are with your family. We send our deepest sympathy for your loss.
I always enjoyed when Bill came into the store. He had a smile on his face and told it like it was. You could tell he had a solid character when you listened to him address an audiance or you individually. He had a lot of spunk and it was a joy to see him enjoy living so much. The family is in our thoughts and prayers.
