William W. Bill Bowles

William W. “Bill” Bowles, 89, passed away March 23, 2016. A World War II Navy veteran, former mechanic and retired Vulcan Materials truck driver, Bill was a loving husband, father and Poppa. Preceded in death by daughters, Carol and Sharol; son, Bill; 5 brothers; 1 sister; father and mother. He is survived by his wife, Jacque, of 66 years; sons, Mike (Gaye) and Doug (Yvette); daughter-in-law, Diana; sister, Nellie Peters; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 29th at University Friends Church, 1840 University Avenue. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Midwest Transplant Network, 1035 N.
