Blide, Wilma Lavon 77, Retired USD 259 Home Economics and English Teacher, died Tuesday, November 10, 2015. She was a voracious reader, enthusiastic Shocker fan, great mother, aunt, and grandmother. She loved to shop and accessorize with bling. Visitation with the Family will be from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 13, 2015; Funeral Service will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 14, 2015, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Please wear your bling to honor Wilma! Preceded in death by her parents, Gerty and Russell Ludiker; son, Russell Blide; sister, Dorothy (Ralph) Wyatt; great-nephew, Jonny Harris. Survived by her husband, Richard; daughter, Jeanette Blide, both of Wichita; granddaughter, Shelby Blide; niece, Patty (Jim) Wyatt-Harris; nephew, Paul Wyatt; great-nephews, Jimmy Harris, Scott Wyatt; friend, Paul Babich.
