Beck, Yvonne M., “Aunt Yvonnie”, 62, retired Via Christi St. Joseph hospitality associate, died Saturday, July 7, 2012. Rosary service 7:30 P.M. Tuesday, July 10, and Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 11, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Although she had no children of her own, she nurtured a generation of south side girls at the Blues Dairy Queen. She was a big sister to everybody. Yvonne was preceded in death by her father, Ralph Blue, Sr., and her husband, John Beck. She is survived by her mother, Mary Ann Blue; siblings, Steve Blue (Donna), Pamela West (Steve), Ralph Blue (Shelia), Kenneth Blue (Terri), and John Blue, and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Wichita. A memorial has been established with St. Joseph Catholic Church, 132 South Millwood, Wichita, Kansas, 67213. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
