Zachary Thomas Brewer

Zachary Thomas Brewer, 52, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Zac was a man whose life was defined by his love for his family and his strong commitment to them. He was known for his kind heart, hardworking nature, and the deep care he showed to everyone around him.
A skilled and reliable professional electrician, Zachary always took pride in his work, but his greatest joy came from being with those he loved. He was a dedicated family man who placed his loved ones above all else. His grandson, Christopher T. Brewer, was one of the greatest joys of his life, and Zachary adored spending time with him. The bond they shared was special, and Christopher brought him happiness.
Zac’s generous spirit and ability to make those around him feel cared for left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. He was a man of great integrity, always willing to help, always willing to listen. He was a true example of selflessness, kindness, and love.
Visitation will be on Thursday, December 19, 2024, form 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Downing & Lahey West Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM, Friday, December 20th, 2024, followed by the Funeral Mass. Both services will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Schulte. A luncheon will follow in Dominic Hall.
Zachary is survived by his loving wife, Phet Brewer; sons, Alex T. (Crystal) Brewer, Tyler Brewer, and Garrett Brewer; daughter, Abby Brewer; grandson, Christopher T. Brewer; parents, Thomas R. Brewer; Darice A. Ingle, Penny Calhoun. He is also survived by his brothers, Dylan (Jenny) Brewer and Alex Ingle; sisters, Melissa Howat, Shanda (Brian) Steele, and Hannah Montes; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Zachary’s legacy of love, generosity, and hard work will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

I worked with Zach doing biggest duct bank job in Kansas at the Kansas Star casino. It was long hours in scorching heat. I thought we all would get heat stroke. Most of us looked beat down but Zach kept a smile and looked out for the guys next to him. He’ll be missed.
