Travis, John “Chris,” 64, Vulcan Materials Control Room Supervisor, died Monday, April 8, 2013. Visitation will be from 6 - 8 P.M., Tues., April 9, 2013; Funeral Service will be at 2 P.M., Wed., April 10, 2013, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by his parents, L. D. and Mary Ellen Dougherty Travis. Survived by: sons, Jon-Michael Travis and spouse, Jen Davis, and Keith Travis; their mother, Gail Lorraine; granddaughter, Emma Katherine.

Hello!
My name is Joe Perry. When the Travises lived near 60th and Utica in Tulsa in the 1960’s I lived at 1433 E 52pl in Tulsa. John Christopher Travis and I would go hunting near Wichita. It was quite an experience!
When got older and I went into the service the connection stopped. We both probably worked our selves to an extreme and never got together again.
Sad to know about the family’s situation.
Is Teresa and Lee Travis still alive? When I get time I’ll post a picture of John Christopher Travis from a long time ago.
