Johnson, Paul “Swede”, 79, owner of Mechanical Systems, Inc., died Monday, April 9, 2007. Rosary, 7:00 P.M., Thursday, April 12; Funeral Mass, 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 13, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Paul, along with his sons, founded Mechanical Systems in 1976. He was proud that his entire family has been involved with the success of the business. Paul was also an Army veteran of World War II. Preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Survivors: wife, Mary; children and their spouses, Greg and Dee Ann Johnson, Chris and Jeanne Johnson, Mark and Alice Johnson, Jeralyn Johnson, Kathy and Rick Reitmeyer, Jennifer and Mitch Morgan, Pat and Robyn Johnson all of Wichita; sister, Gladyne Vusick of Kansas City, MO; 18 grandchildren. Memorials established with St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105 and Bishop Carroll Catholic High School Building Fund, 8101 W. Central, Wichita, KS 67212.
