Arly I Messner

Messner, Arly I., 79, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013. Arly was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was the retired owner of Air Capital Sporting Goods. Arly was an avid outdoorsman and treasured the many years of hunting and fishing with his sons and friends. He was an enthusiastic sports fan who enjoyed playing golf and had great passion for the St. Louis Cardinals. Arly is survived by his wife, Marilyn; brother, Roe Messner (Carol); children, Kathy Mitchell (Dale), Dr. Stan Messner (Kathy), Marc Messner (Michelle); grandchildren, Chris Mitchell (Amanda), Brynne Mulloy (Ryan), Scott Mitchell, Ashley Mitchell, Kadie Messner, Taylor Messner, Gage Messner, Sarah VanAsdale; great grandchildren; Rylea Mitchell, Cooper Mitchell, and Eevie Mulloy. Visitation is 6-8pm Wednesday, November 13 at Downing Lahey Mortuary West and funeral services is 10am Thursday, November 14 at Westside Freewill Baptist Church, 3310 W. MacArthur, Wichita.
