Joseph Vincent Joe McDonough

McDonough, Joseph Vincent, 94, passed away on November 11, 2013. He was born February 6, 1919 in Richmond, MO. Later his family moved to Westphalia, KS where he lived before moving to Wichita, KS. He served in the United States Air Force during World War II. He was married to Ella Frances Adams and they were married for 64 years. She preceded him in death, passing away 4 years ago. Joe V. sold real estate for many years before working at the Wichita Eagle where he retired as a journeyman mailer. He is survived by his sister, Geraldine Roth; three children, Mary Frances McDonough, J.C. McDonough, Nancy McDonough-Harmening, all of Wichita; grandchildren, Abby (Brian) Coltrane, Jamie (fiance, Brianna) McDonough, Joe McDonough; great-grandson, Oliver Coltrane. A loving and dedicated husband and wonderful father, he will be missed. Rosary will be at 7:00 P.M., Friday, November 15, 2013 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East; Funeral Mass will be at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, November 16, 2013, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
