Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I still expect to see Dean pull in the driveway, look in our direction, then come over to instruct Larry on proper lawn-care techniques. He made it clear his comments were a result of their long-standing friendship and for Larry’s own good. Dean worried that others would ‘frown’ on us, because our yard wasn’t ‘manicured and groomed’ up to his standards. I miss his constructive criticism regarding everything from my expertise in the kitchen to the color of my toenails. Living across the street from Dean and Dorothy brightened our lives.
Dear Dorothy and family, It was with great sorrow that read of Dean’s passing this morning. What a nice man. I enjoyed every minute I had talking with him in the years after I first met him. A down to earth man that I respected very much. Last time I saw him, he said as I was walking away, ‘Don’t be a stranger Bob’. He knew at the time, how much I needed to hear those words. Dean will be often on my mind, and always in my heart. I was blessed to have known him and now may God bless you all at this time.
We are keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless
