Cox, Loren E., 86, former owner of Automotive Distributing Company, Inc., died Sunday, November 12, 2006. Rosary, 6:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 15; funeral mass, 10:00 A.M., Thursday, November 16, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. Survivors: wife, Virginia; daughters, Terry Cox Lachenbruch of Lafayette, CA, Rebecca Saghbene and Mary Horner of Wichita; sister, Karen Wohlwend of Derby; grandchildren, George, Paul, Kathryn, and Michael Saghbene, Austin and Cole Horner. Memorials have been established with Christ the King Endowment Fund, 4411 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209 and Center of Hope, 400 N. Emporia, Wichita, KS 67202.

Loren Cox was a Catholic gentleman of the first order. In his quiet and humble way, he radiated unmistakable kindness. My daughter, my late wife Annie, and I have been honored to call him our friend. Heaven has a new usher.

Aunt Ginnie, Terry, Becky and Tom, Mary and George – I am so sorry to hear of Uncle Loren’s death. He was such an inspiration to everyone and always seemed years younger than his actual age. You and your families are in our prayers.
