Alice C. Schmiedbauer
Schmiedbauer, Alice C., 86, homemaker and bridge player, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010. Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 16; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 17, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Alice became a resident of Wichita when she moved here from Denver, Colorado in September of 1957. She was preceded in death by daughter, Susan. Survivors: her husband of 57 years, Joe; children, Michael (Lynda) of Lonepine, MT, Kenneth (Lisa) and Carolyn Goevert (Steve) all of Wichita; brother, Hugh Mahoney; sisters, Mary Speirs and Rosanne Mahoney; 10 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212 and Heartland Home Hospice, 3210 W. Kellogg Dr. Wichita, KS 67213. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
