JUDITH, SO SORRY OF HEAR OF YOUR MOTHER’S PASSING. SHE LIVED A LONG AND GLORIUS LIFE. I KNOW YOU WILL MISS HER AS WE ALL MISS OUR MOTHERS ON THEIR PASSING. DEANNA COTTER, LA CROSSE, KS
HI Jerry, I was so saddened to see your mom’s obituary in the paper this morning. What a sweetheart she was. She was my ‘little Ruthie.’ One day when I went to talk to her she had big plans to take me out for dinner that night. I think she wanted to eat Mexican or Italian, I can’t remember, but she said I could bring the kids. OH she was so cute. I am glad I had the opportunity to meet her and to meet you and be a part of your lives for a brief time. I am glad you put her picture in the paper. I so wish I could attend the service this afternoon but can’t get off work. I will be thinking of you though. I hope you are healing from your back surgery. I still see her sitting at the table or sitting in front of the TV in Lulu House. What a cutie pie she was. You couldn’t ask for anyone any sweeter. How blessed you were to have her for your mother. Take care Jerry and know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time in letting your mom go on to her reward in Heaven. The world has indeed been blessed for having her in it for her 99 years. Sincerely, Vickie Lane (former Dir. of Admissions and Soc. Services, Famiy Health and Rehab.)
