Youngers, Robert L., 68, retired engineer and artist, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012. Rosary service 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Funeral Mass 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Louis; father-in-law, Herb Johnson; and niece Kelly Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Rita; mother, Alice Youngers; sister, Mary Kay (Larry) VinZant; mother-in-law, Marcine Johnson; brother-in-law, Mike Johnson, sisters-in-law, Shirley (Jim) Johnson, Teresa (Van) Harris; nieces and nephews, Megan G. VinZant, Amber (Adam) Barkley, Ryan Harris, Stacey (Rocky) Mitchell, Janna (Keith) Coffey, and Cynthia (Freddie) Cruz; several aunts and uncles, great nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Raggs. Memorials have been established with Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 124 North Roosevelt, Wichita, Kansas, 67208, and the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 15120, Chicago, Illinois, 60693, or the Humane Society of your choice.
