Virginia Ann (Sharp) OBleness

Virginia Ann (Sharp) OBleness, 81 years old, was born August 28, 1934, in Winfield, KS. She passed away suddenly at home on August 1, 2016. Ann married the love of her life, Robert J. "Bob" OBleness on October 18, 1953. She and Bob enjoyed attending the Wichita Symphony and the Opera, traveling all over the world and taking care of and enjoying the gardens in their yard. Ann was a life member of Delta Theta Chi Sorority, the KS Beta Chapter. Preceding her in death was son, Robert Allen OBleness, in 2010; parents, Carl and Allene Sharp; brothers, Richard "Dick" Sharp and Hugh Sharp. Ann is survived by her husband of 62 years, Bob; daughters, Kim Morey (Dennis) of Maryland, Kathleen Jenkins (Danny) of Wichita, Mary Beth Burger (Larry) of El Dorado; grandchildren, Kristina Williams (L.D.), Tiffany Burger, Sarah, Rebecca and Anna Morey and Stuart Jenkins; brother, Larry Sharp (Dianne) of Sun City West, AZ, and many relatives and friends who will miss her infectious laugh and sense of humor. Memorial service will be held at Downing and Lahey Mortuary West Chapel, 10515 West Maple, Wichita.
