Hamilton, Meddie “Ed”, 81, retired Boeing tool and die maker and WWII Marine Corps veteran, died Wednesday, August 3, 2005. Visitation with the family, 3:00-5:00 P.M., Sunday; service, 1:00 P.M., Monday, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Preceded in death by daughters, Anita Hamilton and Joyce Wilson. Survivors: wife, Betty; son, Darrell of Topeka; daughter and son-in-law, DeeAnne and David Browning of Wichita; stepson, Arlan Simons of Wichita; stepdaughters, Melinda Plotts of Derby, Jeanella Simons of Wichita; brothers, Everett, Jim, and Gordon of Topeka, Robert of Sycamore, IL, Roy of Lancaster, CA, Stanley of Indianapolis, IN; sisters, Loretta Luder of Colwich, Bonnie Trembley of Okeechobee, FL; 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild.
