Dear Gary, I just returned into town today (have been on vacation) and a friend called and told me about Susan. I just want you to know that I’m so sorry. Susan and I worked together for several years and she was just a joy and fun person to work with. I had not seen her for several years (since I left Wesley) and she was in school for Practitioner. I know she was so excited about that. I don’t know how long you’ve been married, but I know that she had to add alot of joy to your life also. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time for you. If I can do anything for you and children, please let me know–I would be glad to help in anyway. Again, I’m so sorry…. Sherry
No words can be expressed to fill the void in your hearts. However, our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Remember the strength and love of our God. Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. . . . For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (KJV) Isaiah 41:10, 13 We are here for you and sorry for your loss.
To say Susan was my friend would not even come close to what she meant to me as a person. Susan and I met during Graduate shcool (ARNP) and became fast friends. We shared information about our profession, supported each other during difficult times, talked about everything, laughed over silly things, and grew to become like sisters. She has always been kind, helpful, understanding, and loving towards those around her. In 1999 I moved away from Wichita and Susan was there supporting me. We where both heart broke to not be living close anymore but we both knew we would ALWAYS be friends – no matter how many miles between us. Some people are always with you no matter what, no matter how many miles, no matter how often you speak. Susan has and will always be with me, in my memories & my heart. She was a wonderful person! I have been devistated hearing that she passed. I loved her dearly as my friend. Prayers and Love to Gary, Sydney, Sammy and all of her family.
