John Richard Evans

John Richard Evans, 65, passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018. He was born October 24, 1952 in Salina, KS. John is preceded in death by his father, Donald; and sister, Susan (Michael) Moore. John is survived by his mother, Patsy (Snyder) Evans; sisters, Carol Cowles and June (Robert) Weeks; brothers, Mike (Rose), and Greg. He graduated from Kapaun Memorial High School (1970), attended Wichita Drafting College and Wichita State University. He was a self-employed dealer and appraiser of fine jewelry and antiquities. He was a member of the Downtown Lyons and Pachyderm Clubs and past-President of the Falstaff Club. Donations can be made in Johns name to The Botanica Carousel Project, 701 N. Amidon, Wichita, KS 67203. Rosary will be at 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 25, 2018, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary; Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 am, Friday, January 26, 2018, at Church of the Magdalen Catholic Church.
