Robert Duncan

Robert “Bob” Eugene Duncan, 84, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2013. Rosary 7:00 PM Tuesday and Funeral Mass is 10:00 AM Wednesday both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Bob was the past president of the Parish Council, Serra Club and served other ministries during his 50 years at St. Francis of Assisi parish. He graduated KU pharmacy owned Duncan Pharmacy. He was also a participant in the South Central Kansas Pharmaceutical Association and worked as a Kansas State drug inspector for 10 years. Bob enjoyed memberships in Pegasus Flying Club, Bridge Clubs, Spanish class and snow skiing. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Jane Duncan, and brother, James. Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Nannette “Nan;” children, Sheila (Arthur) Pursell of Bella Vista, AR, Douglas Duncan of Wichita; daughter-in-law Sheri Duncan of Wichita; sisters, Barbara (Tom) Rosner, Joan (David) Zoller; nephew, Kevin (Robin) Duncan; grandchildren, Briana (Stanley) Bogdan, Kaylee and Amber Duncan.
