Quasebarth, Raymond Hink “Ray”, 75, retired service manager for Victor L. Phillip Co., died Wednesday, April 19, 2006. Visitation with the family will be 7:00 ~ 8:30 P.M., Sunday, April 23, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service 10:30 A.M., Monday, April 24, Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Ray retired January 2, 1996. Preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Anna (Hink) Quasebarth, brothers, Marion and Harold and sisters, Ellen, Martha, Margaret and Esther. Survivors: wife, Delores (Manke) Quasebarth; sons, Scott Alan of Overland Park, KS and Michael Ray of Baltimore, MD; daughter and son-in-law, Susan Renee and J.M. Cox of Andover, KS; grandson, Chance Cox; brothers, Henry and George Quasebarth, both of Bucklin, KS; sisters, Lavada Engelhardt of Hutchinson, KS and Izola Jorns of Preston, KS. Memorials have been established with Lutheran Braille Workers, Inc., and The Lutheran Hour Radio Ministry, both c/o Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 600 N. Greenwich, Wichita, KS, 67206. Visitation with the family will be 7:00 ~ 8:30 P.M., Sunday, April 23, Downing Lahey Mortuary East.

  1. Dee, Susan, Mike and Scott. Your father/husband Ray was a wonderful man. In my days at VLP working for Ray he taught me so much about being a mechanic and a person. He was like a second father to me. His sense of humor was great. We spent alot of time together and I cherished this time. Please understand that he has started a new life in heaven. He is with our Heavenly Father and savior. He will always be watching over you and guiding you through the rest of your life until you see him again. We will keep you in our prayers and thoughts.
