Donna M. Ayers

Ayers, Donna M. (Dye), 82, beloved wife and mother, retired Cessna cost accounting secretary, died Sunday, January 13, 2013. Services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Grace Presbyterian Church. Donna was born July 22, 1930 in Wichita, Kansas to Opal E. Bettis Dye and James A. Dye. Upon graduation from Wichita East High, she attended Wichita University, and was a member of Sorosis sorority. While in college, she met her beloved husband of 53 years, William W. (Bill) Ayers and they married September 3, 1949. Bill passed away July 4, 2003. Donna was a member of the Air Capital Cosmopolitan Club, Cosmo-Pals Club, and Tri Psi. She was a long-time member of Grace Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Ayers is survived by her son, Mitchell C. Ayers and daughter-in-law April Ayers; daughter, Peggy and son-in-law Daniel Corman, all of Derby, KS; four grandchildren, Misty (Jeff) Netzel of Clearwater, FL, Summer (Rob) McDonald of Andover, KS, Kyle (Holly) Corman of Larned, KS, and Christopher (Carrie) Corman of Fredricksburg, VA; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Janet Ritz, and brother-in-law, Larry Ritz of San Antonio, TX; and brother, James E. Dye of Cathedral City, CA.
