  1. Dearest Susie, we were so sad to hear about Mike’s passing. We just found out this weekend. We were shocked. Please know you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers. Put your trust in God – he will comfort you. Love –

  2. Susie, Brett, Brandon and Family; Integrity. When I think of Mike, this is always the first word that comes to mind. I am proud to have called Mike a good friend and brother-in-law for over 32 years. In that time, I knew that if I ever needed anything at all, I could always count on Mike. I will miss his humor, wisdom and bold honesty. As Mike ventures on into the Great Mystery, you and the boys are in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Dear Sue,Brett,&Brandon, Mike was so special to your family and we know he will be miss by all of you. We Love you, Aunt Bev,Reva,Reid,Marc,Pam,Mike,Toni,Corrine,DaniMichele,Jessie,Matt,Jenni,Jon,Mary,Joanna,Marcus.

  4. Suzie and Family, Wish that there were more than just words to offer, anything to lessen this void you are feeling. Mike was such a kind individual with so much fun in his soul. Although it has been since our school years dating back to junior high, I will always remember him as being really nice to everyone, always laughing and happy. Take solis in wonderful memories. You must have many. My sincere condolences to the entire family.

  5. Susie, our hearts and prayers go out to you and your family during this terrible time. Mike was such a sweet person, he’ll be greatly missed by all who knew him. Wendell and Lynda

  7. Susie and Family, We are so sad to hear of Mike’s death. You are in our prayers. He was a very special man and will be missed greatly.

  8. I am not sure that my words can do Mike justice. I met Mike through a friend of mine in 1992, he and my friend Richard taught me the pleasure of hunting and provided me with mentorship and life lessons along the way. In the 6 yrs I spent in Mike’s company, he played a significant role in my growing from a boy into a young man ready to make my mark in life in the Air Force. I will hold close the many fond memories we made together. I wish I could be home for the service and personally pass my condolences to Suzie, Brett and family, but military obligation keeps me overseas. My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Dorr family.

  9. Dear Sue, I cannot take away your pain, but you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. We have great memories of vacation, just spending time together when we both were raising our children. Sharing pictures and stories of our grandchildren. All I can share with you is our Wonderful Memories and Friendship. Please know how very sorry I am for your loss of Mike. Love always Pam.

  10. Susie & Family, I knew Mike from grade-school days at P.V. I remember Mike as kind, considerate, good-natured and up-beat. And usually, if one saw Mike, one saw Tim also. I was so looking forward to getting re-aquainted with Mike and meeting you at the up-coming class reunion. My husbands family is from Council Grove, and we have driven around the Council Grove area many times over the years without realizing that Mike and you lived there. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your beloved husband. I know he will be missed greatly by all his family and friends.

  11. Susie, although Misti and I didn’t have the oppurtunity to know Mike as well as we knew you, the few times that we did meet it was a true blessing because as you know he had such a good soul and just one of those sweet caring people that even after only seconds after meeting you just know in your heart how good they are and that he would do anything for you. He will be missed, Misti and I’s hearts and prayers are with you and your family in this tough time.

  12. I am Suzies cousin and have known Mike for many many years. Since we live in Tucson, AZ I have not had the opportunity to get to know Mike like most of you. About 3 weeks ago I sat with Mike and Suzie at my fathers services in Bentley KS and talked to Mike and Suzie. I had not seen them in about 10 years. While talking to him it was as if I had known Mike all my life, he was so full of life and energetic, telling me about his recent retirement and getting into ranching. He came across as a person that would give you the ‘shirt off his back’ to help you if needed. He was one of those people you feel comfortable knowing and talking to. You come across many people in your life, some you remember some you don’t. Mike is one that I am sure everyone who’s paths he crossed they would remember him. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

  13. My wife Allicia and I met Mike And Suzie when they were getting started on their new home at the farm.Although we met doing business,we made two of the most wonderful friends you could ever have.Even when Suzie was in Wichita working,Mike always stopped in and checked on our family and we shared many laughs and stories together. He cherished Suzie and all of his family and spoke of many great times.Mike will never be forgotten, and we all will miss him dearly. Our prayers are with you all and we all know God now has one of the best in Heaven.
