80, Restaurant Owner and Operator, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017. Born November 15, 1937 in Canton, China, she was the daughter of the late Kwok Kwong and Mee Ha Kwan. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Cornell (Thick Gon) Mar; daughter, Glenda Mar both of Wichita; son, Jay (Jodi), and grandson, Avery of Thorne Bay, Alaska; brother, Hong Mow (Siu Ping) Quan of San Jose, California; sister, Ru Yi Quan of Boston, Massachusetts. Sharon and her husband Cornell co-owned and operated Alberts Restaurant in Wichita for 42 years before closing in 2002. Visitation will be from 6:30-7:30 PM, Thursday, November 30, 2017; Memorial services will be at 11:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2017 both at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. A mausoleum service will follow the service at Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita, KS. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with: Victory in the Valley, 3755 E.
