Wanda Lou Anderson

Anderson, Wanda Lou, 80, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away Friday, August 9, 2013. Funeral service is 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 13, 2013, at University United Methodist Church, 2220 N. Yale, Wichita. She was born to Verl and Anna Owens on January 5, 1933 in Salina, Kansas. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Forrest; and son, Vaughn. Survivors are daughter, Linda (Don) Cooley of Wichita; daughter-in-law, Anne Anderson of Wichita; 5 grandchildren, Amy Merseal (Chris), Meagan Deck (Ryan), David Anderson, Caitlin Anderson and Crystal Edwards (Jason) all of Wichita, 5 great-grandchildren, Julia, Kirsten and Brody Merseal, Ava Anderson and Noah Deck. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with the Johnson Cancer Research Center, Kansas State University, 1 Chalmers Hall, Manhattan, KS 66506-3901.
