Terry G. Proffitt, 59, former USD 259 custodian, passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Visitation with the family, 3-5 p.m., Sunday, April 27, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Service, 10 a.m., Monday, April 28, St. Andrews Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by father, Paul Edward Proffitt, and grandson, Matthew Proffitt. Survivors: wife, Debra; sons, Nicolas (Laura), Joseph and Eric Proffitt, all of Wichita; mother, Bernice Proffitt; brother, Gary Proffitt (Susan); 7 grandchildren.
