Griffith, Dr. Glen K., 87, died Thursday, April 24, 2008. Trisagion and Funeral service 7:00 P.M., Monday, April 28, St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Graveside service 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 29, Wichita Park Cemetery. Preceded in death by wife, Victoria S. (Barkett) Griffith. Survivors: sons, Michael and Lori Griffith of Tulsa, OK and Brian and Meredith Griffith of Greenwood, MO; daughter, Glenda Griffith of Cambria, CA; 12 grandchildren. Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
Graveside service 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 29, Wichita Park Cemetery.

Family, I’ve known Glen & Vickey for many years. I considered them dear friends. They were a delightful, loving and devoted couple. To lose them in such a short period of time is truely a tragedy for your family. My memories of Glen were of a grand human being. We played couples golf on various occasions. They were fun loving in golf as in life itself. Please accept my condolences at Glen’s passing. Dianne and our staff stand ready to serve the family at this trying time.
Dr Griffith and I spent a lot of time together in the mid-60s while I had extensive dental work done. Over the years as I’ve changed dentists, they always commented on the wonderful work Dr Griffith had done. I later went to him for a root canal and was pleased to visit with him then. He will be missed.
Glen was one of the genuinely nicest fellows I have known. He always had a kind word for everyone and went out of his way to take the time to greet those he knew and even those he didn’t know. I played many a round of enjoyable golf with Glen and he usually got the best of me. He was good and will be missed! A true gentleman-
