Patricia Neal Marquardt

Marquardt, Patricia Neal, 91, died peacefully Saturday, April 24, 2010, at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice at St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita. She was born Oct. 10, 1918 in Wichita to Howard and Esther Neal. She attended North High School in Wichita and graduated from the University of Kansas, Lawrence. A masters from Northwestern University, and course work for a doctorate. She married William Marquardt. He preceded her in death, July 11, 1976. Survivors include one son, William Howard Marquardt and one daughter, Mary Esther Marquardt both of Wichita. Cousins; Claudine Southard of Wichita and Harold R. Youngmeyer of Albuquerque, N.M., and numerous cousins. She was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church, Wichita, Kansas, and a 65 year member of PEO. Funeral Service will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 1:30 P.M. at First United Methodist Church 330 N. Broadway, Wichita Ks. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church. Viewing will be 8:00 a.m. ~ 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, and 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 29, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
