Frank Anthony Caro

Caro, Frank Anthony, 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015. Frank was born January 21, 1931, in Worcester, MA. He graduated from Clark University, where he served as student body president, with a bachelors degree in accounting. He then served three years as an officer in the Navy. He received his law degree from Washburn and was admitted to the Kansas Bar in 1962. He served as the County Attorney in Colby and practiced general law after moving to Wichita. Preceded in death by his parents, Pompilio and Maria Carofaniello; sister, Virginia Caputo; brothers, Nicholas and Mario; children, Matthew and Kristin. Survived by his wife of 41 years, Carol; sons, Frank, Jr. (Melanie) of Leawood, KS, Philip (Mara) of Charlton, MA; grandchildren, Tracy, Ali, Zach, Anthony, Gabriela, Michaela; brother, Al (Louise) of Wichita; sister, Marie of Worcester; great-grandchildren, Dominic, Anthony, Lorenzo; numerous nephews and nieces. Memorials have been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219; Lords Diner, 520 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67214. Memorial Service will be at 3:00 P.M., Friday, January 23, 2015, at Downing Lahey East Mortuary.
