Mrs. Spurlock was not just my friends mom. My memories of her were of a spunky lady with a great sense of humor, who was always happy to see all of us crazy girls when we went to Heathers house, and she never lost that. Even when we were all grown up, no matter how long it had been, she still treated us like she always did. She will be so very missed. Sending lots of love to Heather and the entire Spurlock family.
So sorry for your loss. Please know our family is thinking of you and love you!

Heather and Chris,
I had the privilege to have each of you in English, at Curtis Jr. High and I remember you with appreciation. Often the mark of a good student is good parents and you had the benefit of great parents. I remember at conferences how your mom was so interested in helping you get a good education. She was one of a kind.
My condolences to all of you.
I enjoyed teaching with Denie at Price-Harris. She was a joy to work with and someone I could look to for her quiet leadership. I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Sorry to hear about Aunt Denie. Praying for your family. “God blesses those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Matthew 5:4

Dear Denies family, I walked to Mead Jr High with Denie. She and I studied together. She signed me up to be on the Boulivard bowling team even though I didnt know how to bowl. With her patience I learned to bowl. We rode to East High together and were Peppy Pilots after school. We had slumber parties. She was a fun and trusted girlfriend. My thoughts and prayers are with you. With heartfelt sympathy, (Carole) Kelly Womack
