Scott, Randy D., 58, retired Boeing manager and current Spirit AeroSystems employee, died Friday, January 18, 2008. Visitation with the family 6:00 ~ 8:00 P.M., Friday, January 25 and memorial service 2:00 P.M., Saturday, January 26, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Survivors: wife, Nancy (Somers) Scott; daughter, Stephanie Scott of Wichita; sister, Cobena Dick (Robert) of Paris, TN; nephews, Ben and Raymond. A memorial has been established with the Sedgwick County Zoo, 5555 Zoo Blvd, Wichita, KS, 67212.

I’ve never met a kinder, more gentle man than Randy–one whose smiles were genuine and fishing expertise superb. I have such respect for Randy–he fought hard to reel in good health just as he fought to reel in fish. I will miss him more than I am able to express.
