Miller, Mary L., 76, retired registered nurse and rehabilitation specialist, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009. Visitation with the family 4:00 ~ 6:00 P.M., Sunday, August 16, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Memorial service 10:30 A.M., Monday, August 17, Eastminster Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by parents, John W. and Laura Mae Simons, and brother, John W. Simons, Jr. Survivors: husband of 54 years, Richard of Wichita; son, Wendell and Dana Miller; daughter, Laurie and Roger Theis, all of Bel Aire, KS; grandchildren, Sarah Miller, Annie Van Bebber and Laurie Theis. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N. Webb, Wichita, 67206 and the Assistance League of Wichita, 2611 E. Douglas, Wichita, 67211.
