Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dear Eleanor, Carol, and Linda, Your mother’s obituary appeared in the Hutchinson News. I want to extend my condolences to you and your families. Your mother was the last of her group of friends from Hutchinson High School. My mother was Valoris Davis Patton. I had not talked to Betsy since she telephoned me after she read of the passing of my brother. We also talked when we read of the passing of Lois Michelstetter, Mother, then Virginia Seck. Your mother seemed to feel quite sad that she was physically unable to attend Mother’s funeral. Mother so very much appreciated Betsy bringing Virginia to the folks’ 60th wedding anniversary celebration. The final gathering of the friends who had kept in touch and had meant so much to each other as friends, was in 2006 when they met in Buhler at the Buhler Sunshine Home where Virginia was residing after her husband died. I recall Betsy as a cheerful caring person. With deepest sympathy,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Mrs. Surtees was my 7th grade math teacher at Brooks. My condolences to her family. Cary Hudspeth
